Temperament

The Jackapoo is an intelligent, lively & athletic breed. They are good with children, love to play and have a lot of energy! Regular exercise is good for this breed.

Coat

Their coat can be smooth, rough and/or curly.

Coat Colors

The Jackapoo can come in a variety of colors. Their coat can be predominately white with black and/or tan colors like the Jack Russell or more solid colors which come from the Poodle.

Coat Care

Jackapoos usually require minimal grooming. Brushing a few times a week should be sufficient.

Health

• Diabetes

History

The Jackapoo is a designer breed created through the cross of the Jack Russell and the Mini Poodle breed. The Jackapoo is recognized by the ACHC (American Canine Hybrid Club). This designer breed can also be registered through IDCR (International Designer Canine Registry) and ICA (International Canine Association, Inc).
