The most common health issue to occur in the Golden Shepherd is hip dysplasia. Other health concerns to watch for are:
• Elbow Dysplasia
All mixed breed dogs have a better chance of having less health concerns because of their genetic diversity.
Their coat is usually more like the German Shpeherd, which is hard, straight and medium in length but can also be longer in length and slightly wavy.
Brushing twice a week will help remove dead hair and keep their coat looking nice. Bathing every other month can also help maintain their healthy coat.
