Corgipoo Breed Overview

Want to bring home an adorable Corgipoo puppy for sale? You’ve come to the right place. At Keystone Puppies, our mission is to help Corgipoo puppies find their forever homes. In addition to Corgipoos, we work with a range of other breeds — including Borgis, Horgis, Pembroke Welsh Corgis, and more! All our puppies are bred with the highest standards of ethical integrity — free of common genetic defects that impact less responsible breeders — and are raised in happy homes where they’re treated like part of the family before becoming part of yours!

The charming and unique Corgipoo is the product of crossing two well-loved breeds, the Welsh Corgi and Toy Poodle. Although this hybrid dog has only been around for around three decades, it’s been gaining more popularity in recent years thanks to its lovable combination of both parents’ personalities and looks.

The Corgipoo’s fun-loving nature and natural intelligence make them a great pet for active households, always game for a walk or run outside! They may not have a long history yet but are sure to become even more popular with families over time.

Corgipoo Puppies Temperament

If a mix of charm and trainability is your ideal pup then have we got the dog for you! The Corgipoo, also known as the Corgi-Poodle mix, is a loyal, loving, and super snuggly pet. They tend to adore people, especially their primary caregivers, but unlike some pups, they’re not clingy.

Highly intelligent and active animals, Corgipoos delight in learning tricks and mastering obedience. Equally affectionate and mischievous at times they are great companions that require routine training to stay balanced. They love playtime and would enjoy going out on regular walks or trips to meet with other dogs. All in all, you can expect this pup to be an incredibly pleasant addition to your family.

Corgipoo Puppy Health Considerations

Though generally very happy and long-lived — with an average lifespan of around 11-12 years — our Corgipoos for sale are not without their unique health concerns. Like every breed of dog, there are a few conditions you should be aware of before you consider purchasing one of our Corgipoo puppies for sale. Understanding the risks allows you to know the signs and prevent small health concerns from turning into big ones.

Corgipoo puppies are at a somewhat elevated risk for developing the following conditions:

  • Eye Problems
  • Cardiac Issues
  • Epilepsy
  • Hip Dysplasia
  • Von Willerbrand’s Disease
  • Allergies
  • And More!

Corgipoos may be predisposed to eye problems such as cataracts or glaucoma, cardiac issues including patent ductus arteriosus, epilepsy, and other neurological conditions, hip dysplasia, Von Willebrand’s Disease (a blood clotting disorder), allergies, and the list goes on. Fortunately, with proactive care from your vet, most of these conditions can be treated and managed quite successfully.

With some basic knowledge of the breed’s health concerns, you can be sure to give your Corgipoo the best possible chance at a long and healthy life. Finding a Corgipoo puppy for sale from a reputable breeder can also dramatically — although, not eliminate — the risk of your dog developing some of these conditions. At Keystone Puppies, we work exclusively with experienced breeders who are committed to producing healthy & happy pups. Corgipoo Puppies Coat & Coat Care

Taking care of your Corgipoo’s coat is important to keep them looking their best! Brush and comb your pup regularly, especially during the shedding season, using a stiff bristle brush or a slicker brush. This will not only keep the fur healthy but prevent mats and tangles from forming. Grooming between baths is also a good idea – regular brushing helps distribute natural oils across the coat as well as remove debris. Additionally, use a tooth comb to remove any small tangles that can easily form behind the ears and in other tight spots. Lastly, when bath time comes around, use special dog shampoo to help protect their skin and coat, and avoid washing them too often – no more than once a month at most! With this routine in place, you’ll have a happy pup with a healthy and beautiful coat!

Corgipoo Reviews

  • While they’re not the easiest to train, Corgipoos are so loyal and loving. Our Corgipoo, Chevy always just wants love and attention. She is mildly hyper and has slight separation anxiety. She has all the best traits. She gets along so well with other dogs and picked up so fast with potty training.
