This breed either has a rough coat or smooth coat.

Coat Color:
This breed comes in a variety of colors. Some of those colors are Sable, Tri-Color, Merle and Black & Tan.

Coat Care:

Although the Collie coat is on the long side, it needs little maintenance. Brushing their coats every week or two and bathing when necessary is sufficient. Trimming their hair to keep it off of the ground is best for this breed. If this breed is in a warmer climate, their need for more brushing increases to prevent matting.
